Boka Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste | Fluoride Free

This fluoride free toothpaste features hydroxyapatite (n-Ha), which is a synthetic form of the mineral that makes up tooth enamel.  Many dentists praise Boka toothpaste for its hydroxyapatite as an alternative or complement to fluoride toothpaste, and cite benefits like remineralizing teeth and strengthening enamel.  It comes in several flavors, and the Ela Mint is a mild and elegant indulgence for the ritual of brushing teeth.  To be fair in our evaluation, one ingredient we don't like here is xanthan gum.  These gums are used in many processed foods and products as a thickeners, but they are difficult on digestion and can cause gut inflammation.
